Well we are here - armed, ready and set for 16 days out there on the roads of the Scotland, Wales and England. We had great weather conditions for the final leg of the journey up here and shivered only slightly during our photo session in front of the post.
It's going to be an early night for the guys as we start at 7am prompt tomorrow for our first 63 mile leg down to Brora. We drove thru there today and it took a further two hours to get here along a very long and winding road.
So all it remains for us at ULTRArace to say is 'Good Luck for tomorrow Chaps'...
More then
Well here we are 12 months on from last years emotional rollercoaster and this years crop of intrepid joglers are less than 8 hours away from the start of their own adventure of a lifetime.
ReplyDeleteHopefully by now they are all tucked up on their tour bus, but I am sure nerves will keep a few of them from sleeping that much tonight!
All of us at 9Bar are incredibly proud to be associated with this great bunch of guys who have prepared for this race like no other and I am looking forward to meeting them all at various times on their journey down the UK.
As always Rory, Jen and the team will do everything humanly possible to get everyone to the finish line, and I wish every single one of the runners the the very best of luck.
Run well, enjoy and endure guys, and to us you're already the best of the best.
Cheers
