It's a quieter road for the guys as they are now getting towards the old Roman Road next to the A74.
Colin is now out in front and flying along...has this been his tactic all along?

A Roman Road eh! Nice and straight then. It's all downhill now from Scotland to Lands End so easy peasy. Great effort by you all. You'll be on home territory in a minute Neil. Well done all. Looking forward to the next posting.

Classic case of the tortoise and the hare!!! Maybe we should have all taken a leaf out of Colin's book. My nickname was the tank but given one of my tracks fell off, I think Colin wears the new tank crown. Very fitting - the event is much like the Battle of the Somme!
